Introduction

Another Hearthstone set was released last week - The Great Dark Beyond, which includes 145 new cards! As usual, this new updated has completely changed the meta, so now it's time to create new decks or improve old ones.

We, at Cards Realm, decided to do some research and bring you the top three strongest decks from the first week of the Great Dark beyond. These are the top-performing decks according to HSReplay. Check it out!

Rainbow Shaman

Flame Geyser, Spontaneous Combustion (when there are no enemy minions on the board), Molten Rune, and Solar Flare deal damage to the opponent directly.

Keep in mind that Saruun buffs these spells, and makes them even more efficient win conditions.

Mulligan - Starting Hand

Your priority is to find cheap Elementals to start playing them as soon as possible. If you can get at least 1-cost minion, feel free to look for Lamplighter, but prefer minions you'll play right away, as you'll only use Lamplighter in later turns. You'll have plenty of time to draw it later on.

Secret Hunter

Main Game Plan

The last list didn't change much, and this one didn't change at all. Secret Hunter is still exactly the same as before, and is still incredibly powerful.

The idea is to cast several secrets to put pressure on your opponent, who'll have to take a different approach to try to figure out which resources you got. For instance, if you have an Explosive Trap on the board, your opponent will have to use an inefficient spell just to find out if it was an Ice Trap.

This strategy will heavily disrupt your opponent, who'll always have to play around your secrets and probably lose the game as a result. Furthermore, Product 9 also brings back all the secrets you used in the match, so you'll be able to put even more pressure on your opponent.

Win Condition

Patchwork Pals will give us 3 discounted Animal Companions. Huffer's Charge and Leokk's buffs are efficient to put pressure on the opponent, and therefore win matches.

There are a few small combos you can play to deal even more damage, like Vicious Slitherspear and Bunch of Bananas. Because of Vicious Slitherspear, each Banana will give you 2 attack.

Secret Hunter takes on a more defensive approach, so we don't have a great way to finish games, apart from winning through fatigue. So, we play Zilliax Deluxe 3000 in this list: it will be one of the strongest minions on our board with the Haywire and Power modules.

Mulligan - Starting Hand

Costumed Singer and Titanforged Traps are essential because they'll give you many secrets.

Other interesting options are Patchwork Pals, which will give you more resources. It'll also give you generic secrets, which are useful regardless of the matchup, like Bargain Bin and Hidden Meaning.

As Secret Hunter didn't change at all since the new set came along, our previous guide is still valid. Check it out herelink outside website.

Final Words

This set has brought us many new cards, but none of them have impacted the meta like other sets. The decks that were powerful before are still powerful now.

I hope this article helped you find your perfect deck, and get to Legend.
